Women's Skilling

As part of our commitment to fostering women’s empowerment and economic independence, we offer a range of skills training opportunities for Somali ladies. Through our Women’s Skilling initiative, participants engage in various activities, including crocheting, liquid soap detergent making, and heena (henna) application. These practical skills not only provide avenues for creativity but also hold the potential to generate income and support their families. By nurturing these talents, we aim to promote self-reliance and confidence among the women in our community.

At Community First, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to acquire skills that can positively impact their lives and create a brighter future. Our Skilling and Livelihood Program is designed to empower community members by equipping them with practical skills and knowledge that can enhance their quality of life and open doors to new opportunities.
